Why Does God Seek to Kill Moses in Exodus 4:24?

Why Does God Seek to Kill Moses in Exodus 4:24? We answered this question on this episode of Real Truth. Real Quick.

  1. Human position, privilege, or education are not what qualify a person to be useful to the Lord. Humility and relationship to God do.
  2. The Creator God is the one who knows what is best for us. Listen to Him!
  3. The Lord was letting Moses know that He only uses holy and
    righteous people.
  4. Unrighteous people will not be used to represent a righteous God to others.
  5. God is not going to use unrighteous people who do not do what He says to judge other people.
  6. God loves us enough to keep us focused on righteousness instead of retaining us as a leader.
  7. Moses had lost his zeal for obedience to God, and the Lord was not going to use a leader like that to deliver others.
  8. When we are not serious about the righteousness of God, it’s not just God who is upset, it also hurts other people.
