(Concerning the origin of sin in Adam and Eve) Please correct my premise if it is incorrect. If human beings can only choose what they are inclined to, how could perfect beings be inclined to choose sin? Even when the inclination is to choose unselfishly, it is still a choice based on the individual’s will or want. Wanting to be like God, knowing good and evil, is not evil, but the means by which they chose to attain knowledge was evil. Again, I am left to ask why would they be inclined to choose an evil means toward a good end If they had not yet been warped by punishment for original sin? Thanks for any response.
